Convicted paralympian Oscar Pistorius and Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir are reportedly "gym buddies" at Kgosi Mampuru Prison.
According to Sapa, Radovan wrote a letter to prison management complaining that he had requested a bicycle and treadmill to exercise in July and even though the request was approved, he didn't receive the equipment until Oscar arrived.
Apparently the equipment was installed in the passage next to his cell and even though he didn't complain about Oscar using his equipment, he felt that it was an infringement of his rights.
"My equipment was offered to Mr Oscar Pistorius, to train on, on his arrival at this facility… without my knowledge," Radovan wrote in the letter, of which Sapa has a copy.
"I did not object to Mr Pistorius utilising my equipment after he arrived at this facility and in fact Mr Pistorius and I started training together," he added.
The letter went on to describe how the Czech fugitive feels that he's been personally targeted as the gym equipment has now been moved downstairs, he's not allowed to interact with other prisoners and was told that his memory sticks would be confiscated and will not be returned to him.
The prison’s area commissioner Zebulon Monama declined to comment.
Prison life is tough hey!
