Johannesburg - Whether you're hosting the SAMA XX1, performing on the night, or doing interviews backstage, you know you're going to have all eyes on you. Just ask HHP and Lerato Kganyago. While Jabba's hosting skills got mixed reviews, with some saying he was a yawn fest and others appreciating his cute jokes, it was Lerato K that got zero chill from social media.
Lerato was doing winner interviews in 'The Green Room' and was hugely criticised for her lack of music knowledge and asking, er, lame questions.
But it was Penny Lebyane who threw the most shade Lerato's way, being very vocal about Lerato's skills...

Lerato didn't hesitate to reply:
I've come a long way, "shades" from peers mean NOTHING to me, giving me constructive criticism, to help me grow, now thats GROWN UP stuff!??

Even 5FM's Catherine Grenfell had her say, after Lerato K asked aKing band members what their win meant for the rock industry. They were stumped... and had very obviously indulged in too much of the free booze before going up on stage.Like seriously??? "What does this mean for the rock industry?".... What sort of question is that? https://t.co/Fd4yB8D621
