Prosper Mkwaiwa: "I didn't fake my injuries"

The music producer has raised many questions over the speedy recovery. This comes just one month after the producer was involved in a car crash that left him severely injured.

At the time, Prosper’s wife, Tina Mkwaiwa told The Juice that she feared the worst as he was in a coma and in a critical condition.

"Prosper has suffered extensive bruising to the brain,which will take time to heal completely," she said. The singer added that even though he was out of danger, he’s like a kid…he needs help eating, walking and bathing.

Now, Drum magazine is reporting that people have questioned whether it was all just a publicity stunt as Prosper has made such a miraculous recovery in such a short space of time.

"I wish it was a publicity stunt. I wasn't faking it , the pain was real as anything. I was walking on crutches," Prosper told the mag.

The producer added that he still wasn't back to his old self but was definitely on the road to a full recovery.
