Tebogo ‘ProVerb’ Thekisho has set the record straight on those nasty rumours that his marriage was on the rocks.

The rapper, who is celebrating ten years in the music industry, opened up toDrum magazine about his career, fatherhood and staying relevant in the industry.

“I was shooting Idols and I had forgotten to wear my wedding ring, so the ring tan was showing. Journalists took pictures of it and assumed that I was having marital woes, which I wasn’t,” he told the mag.

ProVerb is also a doting dad who does everything in his power to shield his kids from the wrath of the media because he wants them to decide if they even want a career in the entertainment industry.

And, as far as Idols is concerned, you can look forward to having him on screen for a long time to come.
