Johannesburg - Zuluboy has enlisted the help of some the country's biggest rappers, including Proverb, Prokid and Zakwe, on his latest theatre experience.
Zuluboy, who's currently touring Europe (more on that here), is set to star in his very own theatre production next month, and has revealed that he will use the likes of Zakwe, Proverb, Prokid and Amu to tell his story.
Describing it as a "hip hop revolution", Zuluboy says "My Story is a Hip Hop theater in concert production that depicts stories of Emcees that are not so born free."
"My Story is born of street credit, accord on mic, spoken word and crowd. Using languages that bob heads up and down because they can relate. On this day I will tell my story through the Shembe pipes and through the ethnic Sounds of iZayoni pramastofu beat boxing on gum boot rhythms of the underground," Zuluboy adds in the performance notes.
Can we bring along our gumboots too, Zuluboy?
