Rami Chuene talks about her character on Muvhango

Fans have a love-hate relationship with Rami Chuene's character Khomotjo Mojalefa. Although she portrays the role very well on the soapie, Rami told Move! that she is nothing like Khomotjo.

" When I watch Muvhango I don't see myself there. I see Khomotjo from the make-up to the hideous shoes and jewellery. Even her walk and the way she speaks is nothing like me," she said.

She says people often come up to her to tell her about her Khomotjo. "I love it because it means I'm doing a good job portraying  the character. It's great for people to crticise my character and react to her in a big way. People who criticise me as Rami are most likely confusing me with Khomotjo, so their opinions don't affect me at all because I know it's not personal."
