Rantebeng Makapan on his TV comeback

Johannesburg- Muvhango's newest cast member, Rantebeng Makapan is excited to be back doing what he loves.

The actor, who had to take a break from the world of soapies for a while, told Drum magazine that he's happy to return to the TV world.

Rantebeng made his debut on the SABC3 soapie on the 1 May and is loving his new character.

The hunky actor is most well-known for his role on Generations as Thomas Mashaba (Kenneth Mashaba's spoilt son).

Rantebeng would not be drawn into why he needed a break from the industry, just saying, "I had to go back home and be close to my family."

Even though he played the character of a rich, obnoxious man, Rantebeng says he's nothing like that it reality.

"Today you could be big, but who knows what tomorrow has in store for you. I stay humble because that's how I was raised," he told the mag.
