Rebecca Malope's 'daughter' is following in her footsteps

Johannesburg - Rebecca Malope is a legend in the South African entertainment business.

And now, her daughter, Noluthando, is following her in footsteps.

Rebecca adopted Noluthando and her two sisters, Thandeka and Zweli when her sister passed away.

Since then, they've grown-up with Rebecca as their mother figure.

Nolu, who is a presenter, actress and runs a PR firm, recently spoke to Drum about how entertainment is in her blood. 

"I naturally had an interest in the industry, but when I was old enough to understand what she was doing it made it seem attainable."

And having someone who has been so entrenched in entertainment has certainly helped her too.

"The challenges in this industry are many. Everyone has a season to shine, but we know it won't last forever. I also told her to be wise and invest her earnings well," says Rebecca.
