Reeva Steenkamp's parents: "We don't want your blood money"

Reeva Steenkamp's parents have rejected a R375 000 payment from Oscar Pistorius. State prosecutor Gerrie Nel revealed this information during day two of Oscar's sentencing yesterday.

Gerrie was cross examining parole officer and social worker Annette Vergeer, when he told the court about  June Steenkamp's decision.

"She rejects that, she doesn't want blood money," Gerrie told the the court. It was also revealed that Oscar has been paying the Steenkamp's R6000 a month since the shooting last year.

Gerrie Nel told the court that the Steenkamp's will pay back every cent that Oscar deposited into the their lawyer's trust account.
