Reminder: Memorial details for Simba & Kady

This evening saw the first of a series of memorial events to be held for Simba Mhere and Kady-Shay O'Bryan, who were both killed on Saturday morning.

Simba and Kady, who were besties, were on their way to the J&B Met, when the driver of another car smashed into them.

The driver is expected to be charged with two counts of culpable homicide.

Work colleagues held a memorial service for Kady in Joburg this evening. Lanterns were lit in memory of their lost colleague and friend.

A memorial will be held for Simba on Thursday at Rhema Church in Randburg from 3-5pm. Simba's family has said that all are welcome. His funeral will be on Saturday at Rhema at 9am.

It's believed Kady's funeral will be on Friday, although details are yet to be confirmed.

It's going to be a tough week... we'll be thinking of their friends and family.
