Johannesburg- Former soccer star and businessman Jimmy Tau has reportedly forked out R200 000 for his bride-to-be.
For months rumours have been swirling that the former Kaizer Chiefs defender has been dating George Lebese's ex-girlfriend, Sizakele Manonga.
The rumours started doing the rounds after George allegedly assaulted her. At the time, it was also reported that the violent brawl took place after George found out that Sizakele was cheating on him. (Read that story here)
Shortly after that, it emerged that there was a nasty love triangle brewing between George, Sizakele and Jimmy. (Find that story here)
Sunday Sun is reporting that a source who attended the lobola ceremony, told the paper that it was a beautiful affair.
"Look Sizakele's family has money and Jimmy knows very well that the R200 000 ilobola was just a drop in the ocean for the Manongas. But despite all the drama involving George, their relationship seems legit," said the source.
The couple refused to comment, telling the paper that they won't get into the details of the ilobola negotiations and won't further discuss their private lives in the media.
