Reports: R Mashesha's belongings stolen

Johannesburg- The family of late Big Nuz member R Mashesha have been left fuming after some of the musician's belongings were stolen, after they opened their home to mourners.

News of the legendary musician's death shocked fans across the country on Friday night. (Read that story here)

Speaking to Daily Sun R Mashesha's sister, Zonke Khomo explained that they opened their doors to mourners as it was part of the African tradition.

However, on Sunday they were shocked to find out that Mashesha's outside room had been broken into. Apparently the thieves ransacked the room making off with the late musician's Appple iMac laptop, two expensive watches, his Sony Playstation, sneakers and some of his clothes.

"We never thought somebody would come in and use the opportunity to steal from us, especially R Mashesha's personal stuff. I find it inhumane and evil to steal from the dead. People have lost ubuntu," she told the paper.

Funeral details for the musician's funeral have yet to be finalised.
