Johannesburg - It's been a rough couple of months for popular radio personality, Zookey Zarling.
Several weeks after reports surfaced, claiming she had been abandoned by her baby-daddy Kay Sibiya (read more on that here), Zookey has been accused of abandoning her station at work!
According to Daily Sun, Zookey has been shown the door at Gagasi FM after she failed to show up for her morning show, I Love Mornings, on Tuesday.
The paper's sources claim that Zookey was unhappy with her colleagues, after they apparently made comments about her private life in the press. She asked for a meeting with management to discuss the matter, but was apparently shown the boot before the meeting could take place.
“It is true Zookey was shown the door, but the issue is not over. We are still going to engage Gagasi FM for closure. Zookey had some outstanding issues with the station and we will put out an official statement," Zookey's manager revealed to the paper.
But Gagasi FM have thrown cold water on the reports, claiming that Zookey was not fired but had breached her contract by not arriving for work on Tuesday.
So, Zookey might love mornings but it seems not work...
