Represent! Three local musos make blues talent search Top 8

How cool is this? Three local blues and soul acts have made it on the top eight list for the Hennessy Talent Quest and could represent SA at the international Blues Passion festival in France next month.

Bongi Mvuyana, Tresor Riziki and Muzart were all named in the top eight of the talent search to find the worlds best blues artists.

Bongi Mvuyana is an alternative singer whose recent single ,I Wonder, has been playlisted on a number of local radio stations including Metro FM and  YFM. She was also named the Woman to Watch on Grazia’s Cool List 2014.

Tresor Riziki was a finalist in the competition last year and will hope to go one better this year. He is a award winning multi-platinum singer/songwriter.

Muzart are a SAMA nominated soul and jazz band that shot to fame in 2013 with their hit Jukebox. They have shared the stage with some of the country's biggest acts including DJ Kent, AKA and Dr Malinga.

Let's hope one of them wins the search and does us proud in the land of champagne and Eiffel Towers.
