Riky Rick: From sneaking into shows to dominating them

It's been a great year for rapper Riky Rick. His singles are dominating the charts, he's mobbed by chanting fans whenever he performs and he'll soon be dropping an album.

But it took his show-stopping performance at the recent Axecess Jozi concert to help Riky appreciate just how far he has come in the last year.

"Last year this time the homie @reasonhd_ (rapper Reason) invited me to perform with him at #AxecessJozi. The Organizer of the gig didnt wanna let me through the backstage because he didnt know who the hell I was. I pleaded with him but had no luck convincing him," he wrote.

"Eventually I managed to slide through and jump on the stage after Reason already announced I couldn't make it due to my baby momma being sick," he added.

"This year, 12 months later..... Dreams Do Come True#FamilyValues," he concluded.
