Riky Rick on his missus: She has her own career

Johannesburg – Riky Rick is known as one of Mzansi’s most family-orientated celebs. So why does he keep his family so private? 

Talking to The Juice ahead of his performance at next month’s 5FM Live Loud event, Riky says he plans to release his next album in 2016.  An album that will once again focus on his journey and family.

“I try to focus on the story instead of just releasing a single. It’s all about the story, so let’s see where the story takes me in the next few months. Sondela was dedicated to my wifey and my son. I really wanted to make a song for them and that was the perfect one,” he says.

It’s clear that Riky is in love, but he’s always been shy to talk about, or even show off his “wifey."

“She has her own career and her own stuff she does. She does her own thing,” he tells us.

Maybe one day he'll finally introduce her to us in person, and not just through his music…
