It's been another jam-packed year in celebville. And, as the year draws to an end, it's only natural to reminisce about the happy and sad times.
We've collated the top five break-ups of the year, which shocked fans across the country...and they're not all romantic splits.
Minnie Dlamini & Itumeleng Khune
Soccer star meets gorg soccer presenter...Itu and Minnie seemed like a match made heaven until the cracks began to show. Itu's alleged roaming eye was to blame for their relationship ending. And, let's not forget those allegations that Itu touched Bonang inappropriately and kissed her on the lips. The verdict on whether Itu did disrespect Bonang is still out, but that was the end of Itu and Minnie's love story!
Menzi Ngubane and his wife, Lerato Ngubane:
The former Generations star has had one rough year. Not only is he jobless, he also went through a divorce a few months ago. What shocked fans about this celebrity break-up is that shortly after reports emerged about their impending divorce, Lerato publicly revealed that Menzi had arousal problems since they started dating. OUCH! Talk about airing your dirty laundry.
Arthur and Chomee:
The king of kwaito fell head-over-heels in love with his protégé. Now doesn't that sound like a love story from a fairytale? Well, Arthur and Chomee seemed as though they were in it for the long haul, until shocking reports surfaced that Chomee had allegedly cheated on Arthur with DJ Euphonik. Chomee denied the cheating allegations and so did DJ Euphonik, but we guess it was all too much for Arthur to handle, who hasn't made up with Chomee yet.
DJ Lulo Cafe and Muvhango's Omuhle Gela: Their whirlwind romance lasted no longer than six months and even though Omuhle has denied all cheating allegations, their relationship ended after being marred by drama. While, Omuhle was dating DJ Lulo Cafe, reports emerged that she cheated on him with soccer star Siyabonga Nkosi and that was enough to send Lulo running for the hills. Sadz!
Bonang & Metro FM : Now, this was one of the weirdest splits we witnessed this year. Queen B was sacked from the SABC for signing a contract with SuperSport without the SABC's consent. It was a highly publicized matter with Queen B insisting that she had left voluntarily and had to think of her future interests. But shortly after the World Cup was over Bonang was reinstated. All's well that end's well we guess!
