The drama surrounding SA's hit soapie continues.
It has emerged that veteran actor Sello Maake kaNcube has rejected an offer made by Generations creator, Mfundi Vundla.
This is according to Sunday World , who revealed that the actor was offered a hefty sum of money. Apparently Sello rejected the offer as he does not want to be seen as a sellout by South Africans who have heeded the call to boycott the soapie.
Sello confirmed to the newspaper that he was approached but would not comment further.
"I'm still with Scandal!. But it's not the right time for me to be talking about this thing as they put me in an awkward position," he explained.
Hlomla Dandala has apparently also been approached to join the soapie. "Generations' people approached me a month before the strike. There are a lot of things to consider, such as money, where you live and what you are currently doing," he said.
