Senzo Meyiwa's cars to be repossessed

It's been reported that slain soccer star Senzo Meyiwa's luxury cars will go under the hammer.

This is according to sources who revealed the unfortunate news to Sunday World.

Apparently Senzo's BMW 1Series was in arrears for over R250 000 and the brand-new BMW X6, which he purchased shortly before his death was financed for R1 million.

It's also believed that the X6 didn't have a death insurance on it.

Senzo's ex-wife Mandisa Mkhize confirmed that the BMW 1Series was in arrears. "I know the car is in arrears and I want to take it back next week," she told the paper.

Mandisa explained that Senzo's dad, Sam, was making arrangements to have the X6 returned.

Sam Meyiwa could not be reached for comment, while Orlando Pirates declined to comment on the matter.
