Senzo Meyiwa's wife mourns with his family

Drum is reporting that the Meyiwa family has accepted Senzo's death.

The magazine spoke to his aunt outside his family home in Durban. She said Senzo's wife Mandisa is in Durban and is currently working through the grief. On how Senzo's wife is doing, Busisiwe told Drum: "She's okay, she's has accepted."

According to the site, Senzo's parents have also accepted his death. "Senzo was always smiling and that's what makes us strong. We have accepted, even though we don't know how we're going to feel after we see him. But I think we're strong enough," she said, adding that they cried a lot after his death.

Senzo was murdered in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg, on Sunday.

He will be laid to rest in Umlazi, Durban, on Saturday.
