Senzo's death changed me - Longwe Twala

Longwe Twala, the son of music legend Chicco Twala, says the death of Senzo Meyiwa has changed him.

Longwe was in the house when Senzo was murdered and says witnessing Senzo's death has left him with nightmares.

"I still think of about Senzo every morning, when I wake up. It’s not easy for me but I am fine. I have even dreamt about him,” Longwe told Sowetan.

Longwe's father, Chicco, told the paper that his son was "missed by a bullet" in the incident and is coping well after receiving counselling.

But he seems Longwe is receiving most of his comfort by going to church.

"Not that I was not going to church before, but I went to church last year in November. I told my pastor what had happened and he prayed for me once or twice," Longwe says. "All I can say to people who go through what I went through be strong in God. They must pray, the greatest power is God’s power,” he added.
