Senzo's parents 'know' who killed him

Today marks five months since Senzo Meyiwa was shot and killed.

Although there were initial arrests, since then, there has been nothing.

There have been various reports about police not making any progress, but officials insist they are still investigating the case.

Now Senzo's parents, Sam and Ntombifuthi Meyiwa, say they know exactly who shot Senzo last year.

In an exclusive interview with Drum magazine the parents claim there were no robbers who broke into the house, as claimed by Kelly Khumalo. Instead they claim that someone who was at the house says that there was a scuffle which broke out and Senzo was shot by mistake.

But they're afraid to name names. "If I were to give you the name of the killer, I would be arrested," said Ntombifuthi Meyiwa.

The family claims that police know about the claims as they were told by an eyewitness and they are investigating.
