Shugasmakx: "Flabba was in high spirits last night"

Flabba's close-friend, Shugasmakx has addressed media outside his home this morning.

The family has also called for privacy, sensitivity and space to deal with the tragic incident.

"We can confirm that Flabba was stabbed in the yard of his home during the wee hours of this morning. The fight was between two people - Flabba and his girlfriend.  No one knows what led to this unfortunate incident and police are investigating the matter," Sugasmakx said.

Shugasmakx told journalists who had gathered outside Flabba's home, that he was in high spirits last night, at the Sands nightclub where he performed to celebrate Shugasmakx's birthday.

"Flabba had a great show last night. Anyone who saw him last night will agree that he was in high-spirits and was happy," Shugasmakx explained.

Shugasmakx has called on the public to remember the rapper by listening to his music.  "If you want to remember him, play his music. That's what he loved doing and would want to be remembered by," Shugasmakx added.
