Simba's friend Russell Lang breaks down with emotion

Simba Mhere's college friend struggled to hold back their tears as they paid tribute to him.

His friends, Russel and Kyle took a trip down memory lane to celebrate his life and everything he taught them.

"Simba's ability to connect with people touched our hearts in a way very few could. He put others needs in front of his own," a teary Russell said.

Rusell struggled to contain his emotions as he bid farewell to his friend.

"He was in his own words;  half man, half amazing. I could never wish for a better friend," Russell added through tears.

Kyle added that he knew Simba was somewhere chuckling at him right now and just wanted to tell him: "Brothers what we do in life echoes for an eternity."
