Simphiwe Dana opens up about love and being a side chick

Johannesburg - Simphiwe Dana has revealed that she was once a side chick, and she didn't even know it!

Simphiwe made headlines a few years back when it was revealed that she was having an affair with a married man, at the time she said the man had not been living with his wife.

But it seems Simphiwe has also been cheated on without her knowledge.

Talking to Khanyi Mbau on e.tv's Katch it with Khanyi recently Simphiwe said: "I never knew I was the other woman until I found out that I was."

Simphiwe says she is not dating at the moment but reveals that when it comes to love, she's a naive lover.

"I chose to be naive. Because then I will have a fulfilling love," Simphiwe says.

"It might last long, it might not, but while it's happening, it's beautiful. If you with someone and you don't trust them then don't be with them."

She says she is not where she wants to be in life at the moment, and is feeling an itch to move in a new direction.

"The same itch I had when I moved from P.E to Johannesburg is the same itch I have now. I will go where that itch takes me," she says.

Let's hope it leads her into the arms of a man...
