Skeem Saam could move to SABC2

The SABC has confirmed that Generations will definitely be returning to it's prime-time slot come 1 December. 

This followed speculation over whether the public broadcaster would decide to keep Skeem Saam over the hit soapie considering the numbers it raked in. However, it turns out that Skeem Saam could actually be moved to SABC2.

SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago told Sowetan newspaper that it was clear from the onset that the youth drama series was a replacement for Generations on the 8pm slot.

"We might see it moving to a primetime slot and even moving to SABC2. Who knows," he said.

Kaizer explained that the SABC was still discussing the logistics behind where and when the soapie will move to and an announcement will be made closer to the time.
