Sony Music: "Lulu Dikana's death is an unexpected and tragic loss"

The songbird's sudden death in hospital last night has shocked fans across the nation.

Sony Music has issued an official statement offering their sincere condolences to her family. "It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected and tragic loss of soul songstress Lulu Dikana, who passed away last night after a short illness, while being treated in hospital.  Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends and all her fans who came to know and love her through her music," read the statement.

According to the statement funeral details will be made available as soon as its been finalized.

The Juice contacted Lulu's family to offer our condolences. They explained that the condolences were appreciated but refused to comment beyond telling us it was sad news.
