Sophie Ndaba has made more headlines in the past two years than ever before.
There was her failed marriage back in 2012, the Generations saga and now, finding her feet away from the soapie that dominated her life for two decades.
heat got to spend time with Sophie on an advanced driving course along with Fuze Tea. The usually private star opened up about all the drama and finding her feet to start something new.
She said that she has a production company and wants to go into TV to create two or more of her own shows. "I'd like to work on dramas, a talk show and a reality show. When people become loyal to you as a person and they love you, there's no way they can judge you."
On the strike, Sophie said that she's confident that she, along with the other 15 fired actors who took a stand, have changed the face of the industry. "Rome wasn't built in a day. So maybe 10 or 20 years from now, actors will reap the benefits. That's what matters."
Being a celebrity means that Sophie has to face praise and criticism. She says it's something she's learnt to deal with. "You have to take it in your stride. The wonderful thing is, that with everything that I have gone through over the years, the majority of people have still given me their support."
