Actress Gontse Ntshegang caused quite a stir when she allegedly took "leave" without notifying anyone.
Gontse, who plays Sister Judith on the drama series, apparently didn't pitch up for work for one week, which wreaked havoc with the story lines.
According to Sunday World, some of her colleagues even started a search for her as they feared she had gone missing. Eventually they were notified by her mum that she was "too stressed" to go to work.
This apparently didn't sit well with producers, as they had to alter production schedules and story lines to deal with her "disappearance."
Her mom confirmed to the newspaper that Gontse failed to report to work because she was feeling "under the weather."
One of the other crew members, who was involved with looking for her, said that her behaviour got them really worried. "What she did was a no-no and unprofessional and that informs the producers' anger," said the crew member.
Her colleague that this would be viewed as "prima donna" tendencies and that she would be written out of the script.
The drama's producer Frederick Bezuidenhout declined to comment.
