Spotted! Homeland's 'Dar' in Cape Town

Homeland fan Herman Lategan and his friend were out to lunch at Emily's in Cape Town yesterday when they spotted a familiar face, F. Murray Abraham.

The actor who played Antonio Saleri in Amadeus ,and who starred in last year's hit movie The Grand Budapest Hotel, is in the country filming for the latest season of hit US TV drama show, Homeland.

According to Herman, he and a friend spotted Murray in the garden of Emily's and had a fan moment. They stopped to ask for pictures and spoke to him a little. He told them he was in the city to shoot Homeland. "He was flabbergasted, actually slightly stunned into silence, when I told him I once had a cat called Salieri," Herman wrote on his Facebook. "From the expression on his face, I realised it was time to scuttle off".

Murray plays of Dar Adul, a "brilliant intelligence operative in his 60s-70s who has worked all over the world for the Special Activities Division of the CIA" in Homeland.

We can't wait to see him on our screens.
