Uh oh...
A few weeks ago, heat magazine ran a story on former Miss SA, Marilyn Ramos, entitled 'Was Marilyn Ramos the worst Miss SA ever?'
In the story, the mag claims Marilyn didn't take calls, had zero public impact and missed major pr opportunities.
"It's hard to understand why she even entered Miss SA. She just never seemed interested," a source told heat.
Marilyn has since hit back at the claims, lashing out at Sun International with a ton of allegations. She says not only did she not have a clothing sponsor during her reign, she also had no pr.
In a statement Marilyn boldly states these are the fact: "The reason I was almost never seen in the media and literally 'invisible' is plain and simple: there was no PR in place for Miss SA 2012. No one was sending out press releases of my doings, creating the warped perception that I wasn't fulfilling my duties. A PR team was only put in place when the Miss SA 2014 search started, and clearly focused on the 2014 pageant."
She also hits back, saying that with minimal support, it came down to her family to pay for everything, including 90 outfits, national gifts, contestant gifts and excess luggage during her reign.
The Juice understands that Sun International is furious with Marilyn. It's understood a statement will be released within the next few days, answering every one of her accusations.
Drama!
