Johannesburg - Suspended Lesedi FM DJ, Nonn Bothma, has returned to the airwaves - and to an audience who won't mind the way she says Dumelang!
Who can forget how Nonn was suspended from her gig on Lesedi FM only hours after starting at the station. The reason for her suspension? She didn't speak Sotho well enough. Poor Nonn even complained that she was being paid while she was off radio (read more about that "problem" HERE).
No Nonn has finally got herself a new job! And it's on 702/ CapeTalk's Solid Gold! Talk about chalk and cheese!
We're sure she's going to do great on her new slot on weekends between 4pm to 7pm. As long as none of those pesky callers decide to request songs in Sotho.
