TEARS ALERT! DJ Zinhle & baby's poem to daddy AKA

Johannesburg - A poem is the last thing you would expect as a tribute to AKA, nevermind one that will probably put you in hospital for excessive crying.

To most of the world, AKA may seem cold hearted and arrogant. But that's not how DJ Zinhle and the couple's little bambino see him.

Taking to her blog on Wednesday, Zinhle shared a Father's Day poem expressing her true love for AKA.

"My own words were not enough to express my gratitude so I asked my little one to help me say 'thank you' to Daddy," Zinhle wrote, as she introduced the poem, entitled For My Daddy.

The poem is not for the faint hearted and even made mommy Zinhle "sob uncontrollably" when reading it.

So if you think you can handle it, grab a tissue (or a box!) and read Zinhle and baby's beautiful tribute to AKA below:

I know it’s your hand when you touch Mommy’s tummy
She laughs so hard when you say something funny
Or something silly like, “Baby … this is Big Brother”
As I smile at the touch and the voice of my Father

Mommy’s heart beats faster when you’re around
I kick and move at your every sound
It makes me glad when she’s always happy
Can’t wait for the day when you’ll be changing my nappy.

I dream of the day when I’ll meet you Dad
Although leaving Mommy’s tummy makes me sad
Then I think of bath time and family fun
And falling asleep on your chest when its done

I know that you love me and how much you care
Mommy says you work hard to make my life rare
I want to say thank you for all you have done
So this is my promise to love you like none

Now it’s time for my nap inside Mommy’s tummy
Before I forget … she said that you’re yummy
What does that mean? I hope you’re not toast
Happy Father’s Day Daddy, I love you the most”

The End….

... and the start of our tear fest!
