Why Loyiso is Mzansi's next big export...

Johannesburg - Loyiso Gola has had us in stitches for years now and it seems he is ready to take over the world with his witty sense of humour.

The Juice got the chance to speak to Loyiso only hours after his return from the UK and found the comedian has only one thing on his mind.. global domination!

Local take over

First Loyiso will attempt to win over the home crowd when he embarks on a national tour, starting next month.

Fans can expect a whole lot of fresh new material based on Loyiso's experiences and observations from his most recent travels across the globe.

"I've been overseas for the last two months so I have a lot of new ideas and experiences," Loyiso tells us.

And it won't be long ("around two weeks", in fact) before his super popular LNN (Late Night News with Loyiso Gola) returns to our screens. But this time he wants to bring YOU along.

"We would love to have a live audience on the show. It's something I thrive off," he tells us.

Take America ... and Australia

And Mzansi isn't the only place Loyiso Gola wants to be a household name in.

The funny guy tells us that he is currently in negotiations to star in comedy projects in America.

Loyiso was also just unveiled as a correspondent on Australian satirical news show “The Weekly with Charlie Pickerin”.

And although he's tightlipped on what exactly the project involve, he has told us that the shows will see him star alongside some big names in global comedy.

Social Media

Loyiso is known to take to social media occasionally to advise other local celebs when they go on rants.

A most recent example is when he stepped in to help Cassper Nyovest when the rapper went on a rant about Woolworths choosing Pharrell Williams as their new fashion collaborator.

"The problem I have with South African artists is that they think the audience owes them something. If a brand sees value in a certain artist that relates best to their audience or clients, it has nothing to do with local or not local. You are not going to be the right person for every brand," he tells us.
