The search is on for SA's next big thing. Do you have what it takes to win? Then you will have to impress T-bo Touch, Khuli Chana and DJ Ganyani who have been announced as judges for the Jack Daniels Music Scouts competition.
T-bo Touch told Daily Sun that they are looking for something different this year. "It's not just about finding talent but also about empowering performers, who will go on and give others the chance they were given. They have to have a combination of talent and leadership because a lot of competition winners struggle to make it after they win," he said.
He added that all three judges need to nurture the winner and try to teach them to keep themselves going in the industry. The competition calls on unsigned musicians, vocalists and DJs from around the country to try out.
?Entrants can visit www.jackscouts.co.za from a mobile device to enter. In addition to receiving exposure, the winning artists will win a trip to the Miami Music Conference.
