Tbo Touch dagga complaints dismissed

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) has dismissed a complaint that Tbo Touch promoted the use of dagga on his show.

The complaint came after the Metro FM DJ interviewed Wiz Khalifa. Touch asked Wiz what he was looking forward to in SA. The rapper responded by saying he was looking forward to the weed.

While the complainant admitted that Touch had no control over Wiz's response, he said the presenter continued to entertain the rapper regarding weed and that Touch went as far as saying "we grow the best weed in this country."

However, the commission said it does not believe that Touch's words went that far.
