We were shocked when we heard that Schalk Burger and his family were moving to Japan for two years, so that the former Springbok could follow his dream (and money) of playing overseas for Japanese club, Suntory Goliath.
Shalk and his family have been in Japan for little over a month and they're loving it!
So what's it like in Japan? Luckily the Burger's have been good to their friends, family and fans and have been sending pics of their Japanese adventure back home to SA.
The gorgeous snaps include all the highlights like the family's first Japanese barbecue, their little one's first day of school, their visit to a Japanese butterfly garden, taking the oddly labelled subway and even hanging out with some locals.
