The Road gets major love on social media

Johannesburg - Did you see? Mzansi Magic's new telenovela, The Road, debuted last night and almost caused a Twitter meltdown. 

After weeks of anticipation and excitement (Check out the teasers here), the show finally made it's premiere last night, trending hours before it even began.

The show, which features some of the biggest names in SA, got massive love from Twitter fans, but there was special love for Musician and TV personality Nandi Mngoma, who made her TV acting debut on the show as the character Zokuthula.

Nandi took to Instagram a little while later to thank her fans for the love.
