The group, made up of Buhlenendalo Mda, Luphindo Ngxanga and Ntsika Ngxanga received a trophy and a cash prize of R214 440.

Music producer Sipho Sithole told Daily Sun: "They won first place after performing for three nights."

They were invited to participate after performing in Russia last year.

Things are surely going to get better for the trio, who've also recorded a song with legendary SA group Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
