The dramz at Generations continues

Government has swooped in on the Generations debacle calling for an "amicable resolution."  It's been 48 hours since 16 cast members were fired after they failed to return to work by the stipulated deadline.
Although there's been no developments in the situation, actors are reportedly standing firm on their demands.
According to City Press the ANC has requested an urgent intervention by the ministers of communications and labour to help resolve the matter.
"To this end, comrade (Communications Minister) Faith Muthambi will be meeting with the SABC to understand the circumstances surrounding the dismissal of these workers," ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa told the newspaper.
Meanwhile, insiders also told the newspaper that soapie does not have enough content to keep it running for the next three months. They added that it would be impossible to keep the soapie on air.
Former writers also told City Press that the situation is a disaster and that even the key cast members don't return to work it would be incredibly difficult to write them out of the story line.
When news of the firing first surfaced fans took to social media to vent their frustration and judging by the string of comments no one is impressed with the SABC.
Come to think of it, what will Generations be without the likes of veteran actors like Sophie Ndaba (Queen),Menzi Ngubane (Sibusiso), Katlego Danke (Dineo),Seputla Sebogodi (Kenneth), Nambitha Mpulwana (Mawande) and others?
