The story behind all the local celeb 'splits'

There was confusion, outrage and plain ol' sarcasm yesterday after a host of local celebs 'split' from their partners.

As we reported, it was part of a campaign to raise awareness for women's month and anti-women's abuse.

Most of y'all didn't geddit. (And we must admit we were a bit confused too) Some of you wanted your data back (lol) and others were just irritated.

How exactly does changing a relationship status encourage this, you ask?

Well, the status changes were all part of POWA's 'more than a click' campaign.
