Tony Kgoroge lands first leading role

Tony Kgoroge has landed his first leading role in a movie. The actor, who's starred in big movies like Invictus and Long Walk to Freedom, will be showing off his talents in Cold Harbour. The movie, which came out yesterday, is an action story full of twists.

He stars as Sizwe, a cop from Khayelitsha. He told Daily Sun: "I have acted in many international movies. They always gave their stars the first choice. I was always the second choice when it came to lead roles. When the Cold Harbour producers approached me, I could not resist the opportunity."

Other actors in the movie include Fana Mokoean, Zolani Mahola and Thomas Gumede.
