Johannesburg- Ukhozi FM DJ and TV personality, Ngizwe Mchunu has reportedly landed on the wrong side of the law for speeding.
According to Daily Sun, Ngizwe was caught driving 161km/h in a 120 km/h on Friday.
Apparently the radio personality was arrested by police and released on R1 500 bail.
Ngizwe apparently confirmed the incident to the paper and apologised to fans for the mistake.
"I agree I exceeded the speed limit. I was rushing. I apologise to all motorists using the roads and I also apologise to everyone who sees me as a role model. I will comply with court procedures to show it was a mistake and I apologise," he told the paper.
Ngizwe will appear in the Balfour Magistrates Court on Thursday.
