Ukhozi FM breakfast DJ gets frozen out

Ukhozi FM's Zama Ngcobo is apparently in hot water after an interview she conducted went over time (big whoop) - leading to an awkward on-air moment between her and breakfast show host DJ Ssemeza.

According to the Sunday Sun, Zama now faces the chop from the popular radio station. Because that's such a serious mistake!

The paper's sources say that Zama will most likely not be part of the breakfast show for very long after the stations bosses decided to not schedule her.

SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago confirmed that Zama was not on the show but denied that it was because she was suspended.

"The SABC can confirm that Ms. Zama Ngcobo has not been scheduled. Please note that she has not been suspended as she is a freelancer," Kaizer says.
