Vatiswa Ndara allegedly wants to be back on Generations

It's been reported that the former Generations star wants writers to revive her character.

This is according to Sunday World, who were tipped off by a source on the production team. Head writer Bongi Ndaba confirmed that they had received an email from Vatiswa's agent requesting that they revive her character, Mamfundisi.

"We told them that we cannot bring a character back because when we audition people, a story is already written and she Mamfunsisi is not part of the new story," explained Bongi.

She added that it would not make sense to bring her into the story for a different role as people would think they were stupid. This campaign has been taken a step further, with a Facebook page called, Bring Back Mamfundisi being created.

Vatiswa said that she was surprised by the news of the Facebook page and has distanced herself from it. She made it clear that she's not desperate to be part of the new soapie.

"People should stop acting as if I'm the only one who's curious to know about the new actors of the soapie," she added.
