Johannesburg- In a few short months the Springboks will be heading to the World Cup!
This year also marks the 20 anniversary since the Boks brought home the iconic trophy in 1995.
In celebration of that historic moment, which brought a divided nation together, Tsogo Sun launched the 'Fly The Flag' campaign on Thursday.
The campaign aims to get the entire country to rally behind the Boks through messages of support from fans across the country.
Fans are being urged to write their messages on pieces of ribbon, which will be distributed at Tsogo Sun hotels and casinos across the country.
The ribbons will be sewn together to form a flag of support for the Bokke. A smaller version of the flag will be handed over to the Boks before they jet off to England, so that they will have the support of South Africa with them.
Veteran rugby player Francois Pienaar has wished the current team all the luck, and believes they will bring the trophy home.
