When we say the name "Dr Malinga" - what's the first thing that comes to your mind?

It's his famous kick right?

Well, we caught up with the kick master recently to find out just where the idea for that kick comes from.

"The credit has to go to my father. He did karate and I used to watch movies. My favourite was Jean-Claude Van Damme. So, one day I was singing outside the furniture shops and I decided to kick and I was singing, while I was kicking," he says.

So, people loved it and I thought 'no this thing can work' and I said 'no, let me just do it,"he adds.. 

Oh, and in case you're wondering - those stories about him kicking that bus fuel tank are totes true.
