Why Menzi hasn't returned to TV...yet

Ever since he got the Generations boot,along with 15 co-stars, we've missed seeing Menzi Ngubane on our TV screens. But the actor tells Sunday Sun a return is just around the corner.

Menzi told the paper that he is in the last month of  intense treatment, following a recent kidney transplant, but is "definitely ready to do what I'm good at - which is acting".

Menzi says that although he doesn't have any specific projects yet (take that, Muvhango rumours!) he is weighing up his options.

"I'm still in talks with various people, and I know something will come up," he says, adding, "but at the moment I'm focusing on my health."

We can't wait to see him back on our screens kicking butt!
