Will iFani's new album go gold today?

Johannesburg - Rapper iFani releases his second album today with an ambitious plan- to go gold from day 1!

In order for an album to go gold it must sell 20,000 copies, and that's exactly what iFani plans to do with his latest album, I Believes in Me (Second Quadrant).

"MY DREAM: to go Gold on the first day of release. Album will drop on the 29th April. I am praying for your support," he wrote on Twitter last month.

And, iFani has been on the war path to make up the amount needed in pre-orders ever since, visiting nearly every radio station and television studio known to man to push the goal and even trending on Twitter several times.

The album had, by last week already amassed over 5,000 pre orders, with celebs, including Roxy Burger, Pearl Thusi and Pearl Modiadie pre-ordering copies of the album.

Question is: Have you?

Will our favourite silly rapper make his goal? We certainly hope so...
