Woolworths clears confusion around Bonang's lingerie line

Johannesburg - Major retailer, Woolworths has issued a statement regarding Bonang Matheba's lingerie being available in Australia.

Queen B created a stir last week after posting a message on social media saying her line, Bonang for Distraction, would be launching in David Jones Department stores in Australia in October.

However, a press statement from Woolworths says there has been some confusion about Bonang's statements.

“There has been some confusion stemming from an incorrect announcement made on Ms Bonang Matheba’s social media platforms last week relating to the extension of her capsule collection for Distraction into Australia. Ms. Matheba is the South African brand ambassador of Woolworths’ lingerie line, Distraction. There are no plans to extend Bonang’s capsule collection for Distraction beyond Southern African borders. Distraction has, however, been available in David Jones stores in Australia since August 2015."

The messages by Bonang have since been deleted.

So, it's been available there since August... semantics much?
